Obviously I didn't follow through with writing everyday in January. Life got to be life as life does. I got to ditch my wrist brace and return to the roller rink. It has been a glorious and triumphant return, but as I got more involved with the Royal Wheels, I had to rearrange my priorities. Blogging certainly fell to the side, as it usually does.

But I'm back at the rink! And back with my team, the Royal Wheels. I have been given the title "Head of Marketing" which essentially means I run our social media, as well as facilitating sponsorships and partnerships with other businesses. We also started a podcast, where I host, edit, and produce. It is called The Royal Touch and is available on Spotify and SoundCloud. All of our socials and podcast links can be found here: linktr.ee/royalwheels.

In relation to my skate journey, I visited LA in February. I went with the sole purpose of roller skating. I was only there for three days, but I skated Venice Beach every single one of them. The energy there was absolutely unmatched. 80 degree days and good vibes all the time. I got to meet some really excellent skaters and was shown several new things.

Outside of skating, I am directing a children's show with the Lowell Arts community program, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood. I haven't worked in children's theatre since high school, so I have definitely had to reacclimate myself. I have been investing myself in the meaning of the show, even though it may not be as complex as something like 4.48 Psychosis. If you would like to see the show, it is April 15 & 16 at Lowell, MI's high school. I'll share more information as I receive it. I am extremely grateful to be back doing what I love, in any capacity.
